Historic Passenger Depot Opens as Event Venue
Over one hundred years ago, "passengers who were making their first visit to Minot, North Dakota, were astonished and keenly delighted with their first impressions of the Magic City, gleaned from the metropolitan-looking depot at which they stopped" wrote The Minot Daily Reporter back in 1912.
Today, the building's character has been restored through significant private investment, and this iconic Minot building once again hosts many of Minot's most memorable celebrations and events. Inside this historic passenger station, The Depot offers a unique, intimate setting. Take advantage of the three-season, open-air pavilion for a charming extension of your event footprint, and order a beverage from the original train ticket counter.
The Depot, surely one of Minot's most photographic backdrops, is the ideal venue for your meeting, reception, celebration, performance, or private party. The Depot comfortably accommodates up to 300 people for a cocktail reception, 225 attendees theater-style, 200 guests for a seated dinner, and approximately 100 in classroom-style seating.
A chef-prepared menu and an extensive beverage list is exclusively provided by one of the region's most acclaimed restaurants.
The Depot features an accessible main level, flexible seating arrangements, and audio/visual equipment. The Depot is conveniently located near ample parking and is in the heart of Minot's walkable, downtown shopping, art, and nightlife district.
